NuMatch Privacy Policy

Effective: September 1, 2025

Short version: NuMatch currently operates a waitlist app. We collect only what we need to run the waitlist — your email address, the cities where you’d like to meet people, your app language, and a coarse (approximate) location sent automatically with the form submission. We don’t run third‑party ads, we don’t sell personal data, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.

1) Who we are

NuMatch (“we”, “our”, “us”) is the developer of the NuMatch app and website. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@numatch.club or support@numatch.club.

While NuMatch is in waitlist/preview mode, we collect the following from you when you submit the in‑app form or our site form:

We do not collect health data, contacts, photos, microphones, or precise location. We do not use third‑party advertising SDKs.

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with trusted service providers acting on our instructions, such as website hosting, email delivery, and analytics strictly for our own product metrics (no third‑party ads or data brokers). These providers are bound by contracts that restrict their use of your data.

We keep waitlist data for as long as you are on the waitlist or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. If you do not interact with us for 24 months, we may delete your submission sooner. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

GDPR/UK GDPR (EEA & UK residents)

You may request to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise rights, email privacy@numatch.club. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

CCPA/CPRA (California residents)

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. California residents may request:

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (TLS in transit, restricted access, least‑privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9) Children & age limits

NuMatch is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10) International data transfers

We may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or UK Addendum for transfers to service providers.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we expand from a waitlist to the full app. We’ll post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted or communicated where appropriate.
